1. Our role

Akon Healthcare is a technology platform that connects you with independent registered doctors, hospitals, labs and pharmacies. Medical advice is the responsibility of the treating professional.

2. Not for emergencies

The platform is not meant for medical emergencies. In an emergency call 108 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.

3. Teleconsultation

Online consultations follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. A doctor may decline to prescribe certain medicines online or ask you to visit in person.

4. Bookings & payments

Fees are shown before you pay. A booking is confirmed once payment succeeds. Rescheduling is free up to 2 hours before the slot.

5. Cancellations & refunds

Cancel up to 2 hours before an appointment or 6 hours before a home collection for a full refund. Refunds reach the original payment method in 5–7 working days.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Chennai having exclusive jurisdiction.
